Curator
You are the Curator when a new whole exists because you chose and placed parts you did not make. A mixtape, a gallery show, a set, the choosing and arranging is itself the work, and each part keeps its own maker's credit. The Curator is an Author of the arrangement, not of the parts. What separates the Curator from a Maker is that the Curator made none of the pieces, only the whole they form together, and what separates it from an Adapter is that the Curator gathers pieces and leaves them as they are, where an Adapter changes one work into a new one. If you made some of the pieces and arranged the rest, you are a Maker for the parts you made and a Curator for the arrangement, two entries.
