Made a three-dimensional work.

A sculptor makes a three-dimensional work. The form comes into being through one of four processes: carving stone or wood, modelling clay or wax, casting metal in a mould, or building parts into a constructed whole. A patron may fund the work and a director may set its look. From there the sculptor designs and shapes the object, then hands a master to a foundry that pulls the casts and to galleries and keepers who release and preserve it. The sculptor brings a new three-dimensional thing into existence.
