You Prepare when you finish the work and get it out. Prepare is the layer for delivering it and keeping it reachable, you send it, post it, hand it in, format it, or keep it online over time. Someone who masters a track, posts it, and keeps it up did Prepare. Prepare does not change what the work IS; it changes where the work GOES and whether people can still get to it.
