Originator

You are the Originator when the original idea was yours, before any of the work existed. The Originator supplies what the work would be, not the direction it is steered in later and not the resources behind it. A person who told a writer to research and write a paper originated it: the idea was theirs, the writing was the writer's. Among the Devise acts, the Originator supplied the idea itself, where a Shaper steers an idea already in motion and a Backer says yes to it.
