music:mix-engineer
Made the mix.
A mix engineer takes all the separately recorded parts of a song and blends them into one finished version. Working in a digital workstation, this person balances levels, shapes tone, places each sound in the stereo field, and prints a mixdown for the client. The recording engineer hands over the captured tracks, and the producer offers direction along the way. Once the balance is signed off, the mix passes to the mastering engineer. The mixer makes the song's final mixed sound.
