music:composer

Wrote the music.

A composer writes the music for a song, film, or other work. The composer creates the melody and harmony, the underlying musical material that did not exist before. This work takes shape as a written sketch or short score, often built in a digital workstation. The composer starts from a director's or label's brief, then passes the finished music on to orchestrators, conductors, and the musicians who perform it. What the composer adds is the original music itself.
