On-set technician who checked the image meets exposure, color, and technical spec.

The digital imaging technician works on set, handling footage as it leaves the camera. This person checks each image against the agreed exposure, color, and technical spec, builds the color settings that carry the intended look, and makes verified backups that match their source. Earlier, the camera crew hand over the cards and the cinematographer sets the look. Later, the editor and colorist receive the checked files, color data, and synced dailies. This work keeps the footage sound and the look consistent into post-production.
