education:author
Wrote the resource.
An education author writes the new material of a course or textbook. Working from learning outcomes and subject knowledge supplied by a subject expert, and from a commissioning brief, this trade produces the text itself, the lesson content, the scenarios, and the assessment items. The finished draft goes to developmental editors, copy editors, and reviewers, and on to technical editors who prepare it for delivery. What this trade adds is the material itself, brought into existence in words a learner can read.
