DARP is an attribution taxonomy. It records a contribution as broadly or as specifically as the people using it see fit.
DARP accounts for the creative process of making and sharing work, by anyone in any field, rather than the crediting conventions of a single industry.
A contribution can be named three ways, from broad to specific: the layer, the act, and the trade word.
Scope words describe to what extent someone contributed (sole, lead, supporting, assisted, equal). They can attach to a contribution at any of the three.
A DARP record can hold human contributions, AI contributions, or both.
1.The Layers
DARP organizes creative contribution into four broad layers: Devise, Author, Review, and Prepare.

Trade Words bridge DARP to the language a field already uses to credit its people. We've only mapped a handful of fields (with the help of AI!) as proof of concept, not as complete terminology.
