Working in a stage full of gravel, cloth, and household props, the artist creates footsteps, clothing rustle, and handled-object sounds that match each movement on screen. The locked picture arrives from the editor, and a cue list comes from the sound designer. The performed take then passes to a recordist, an editor, and the final mix.
